Just spoiled my lunch mate
Targeting children and civilians is a cowardly act , whether as a legitimate fighting force or as a terrorist.
Anyway, I am not sympathising too much, with the Russians or the Chechens. When the Russians invaded Chechnya to stop the rebellion, they also committed atrocities against innocents/ civilians. This was how the Chechen terrorists got their idea for revenge. -

When I see those pictures, my thought is that I hope that in my lifetime I will not see scenes like those in Singapore.
I hope that Terrorists will not strike our country.

According to the papers. many of the hostages took off their clothes because they are too hot. All hostages, packed in the gym.
Also maybe the terrorist want them to take off their clothes. like that cannot hide weapons or handphones. -

Does this surprise you, dear reader? Does it shock you that the people who deliberately attacked a school and then systematically shot and blew up little children did so in the name of Islam? We have already become almost inured to:
The slaughtering of innocent human beings as if they were animals while chanting Muslim prayers.
The reintroduction of black slavery and genocide against blacks.
The murder of daughters and sisters for imagined or real sexual behavior.
The stoning of women accused of adultery.
The burning of Hindu temples and Christian churches, and the destruction of among the greatest Buddhist sculptures.
The ban on women driving cars or learning to read.
The idolization of young men who blow themselves up while murdering and maiming innocent non-Muslims — and the theology of sexual rewards in heaven for doing so.
These are some of the atrocities being committed by Muslims in different parts of the world today. It is, of course, only a minority of Muslims that engages in such horrors, but it is only Muslims who are doing all these things. Christians aren't — even among Palestinians, there are no Christian terrorists. Jews aren't — and when one Jew did deliberately kill innocent Palestinians in 1994, the rest of the Jewish world was horrified and demonstrated its revulsion in word and deed. Buddhists aren't — despite the destruction of Tibet by the Chinese Communists, no Buddhists have murdered innocent Chinese, let alone non-Chinese who deal with China.
With the psychopathic cruelty at a Russian elementary school, have we reached the point where people of goodwill can ask serious questions about Muslims and Islam? Or are any challenging questions still to be dismissed as "Muslim bashing" or, even more absurdly, "racist," as if religion were a race? -

by your definition... since mankind has been in war and has continue to savagely killing their enemies since time immemorial...
therefore those acts of terrorism should be considered as acceptable or condone or perhaps accepted with understanding in persent modern times?
how would you like to eat your enemy like some of our barbaric ancestors at the same time... why act civilised in the first place?
if so... perhaps... terrorism should be considered as an acceptable form of warfare.... if that is to be true... and if the russians do unto those chechens as what the chechens did to russian childrens... i am sure there wont be any chechens left on this planet.
come to think of it... if the chechens felt that they have a right to kill russian children because their own family members were killed by russian troops...

the reason why terrorist resort to terrorism is because they understand that their opponents would not do to them... what they are doing to their enemy's children...
however... should one day... when the terrorist realise that their enemy would and is capable of visiting terrorism on their families... the terrorist would have to cease using terrorism....
unfortunately... western "civilization" occassional support for terrorism... by refusing to permit their govt to conduct a tit for tat... gave terrorist the faith (not in allah lah) that their continuous terrorist acts would not result in similar terrorist acts against their families...
that is why... during the recent russian terrorism... the terrorist didnt even bother to move their family into hiding and allow them to be captured by the russian troops en mass...
and as the terrorist expected (thus also emboldends them further) the families of the terrorist were released unharmed and was reported to given "protection" by the russian army!!!

no matter what the reason, children are innocent.
They are defenceless. they have not offended anyone.
These actions are cowardly, and of desperation.
It is sad that we are witnessing the begining of the end of a religon. Like the Astec, Egyptians, I think the religion will slowly fad away over the next 100 years.
Guess the turing point is when a alternative fuel is found and the Arabs will loose it's power on the world. The world will then turn against them who have caused fear and pain to many.

At the risk of sounding cold, children of today are no innocent then that of their older sibilings. Haven't anyone read about the gang of primary school student who gang rape a woman( Not, in S'pore lah )? Or seen pictures of a kid holding an AK-47 possing for National Geography? Or the local flavour of gang fights with parangs? etc, etc, etc.
Maybe like the law, we chose to ignore the fact that children are not ignorant to death that in fact the kid who brought the gun to school to shoot his school mates knew that they would die by his actions.
The terrorist action in the Russian school was wronged, condamning it is a right thing to do, preventing future terrorist from doing it is a must, etc. But claiming that these terrorist act was worst then any previous terrorist because of the involvement of innocent children, is wrong.
Because we have alway believed that children are innocent thats why the terrorist would use them to terrorize us because of the emotional impact that come with their actions. To fight terrorism, we must be prepared for the worst, this include seeing a kid with bomb strapped to his body. Because the kid could've volunteered for the job. -
What these morons don't seem to understand is that by taking children hostages & resulting in many of their deaths, ppl are not only NOT going to pity them, but ppl will hate them even more. So what they did will only backfire on them.

they want you to accept their terms and nothing less... or else they are gonna continue to kill your children UNTIL>>>
1... you give in to their demands, each and everyone and more demands to come....
