Having the knowledge is one thing. Having the cow sense is another. A person can have all the knowledge about military hardware but if this same person will not hesistate to go to war, then I say he is a lousy soldier 'cos everyone knows that a great soldier is one who knows how to prevent wars, NOT one who is keen to start wars.
In addition, a good soldier is also realistic & does not let his Red Alert get the better of him & start fantasizing about getting spy satellites, nuclear missiles & mammoth tanks for SAF.
I can predict you are gonna be one "popular" guy in your platoon.
