What is a Machinegun?

I am confused, how to classified "gun" as "machineguns"? Was it by the 100 rds magzine it carries? I know Assault rifles like M4 have being fited with 100 rds C-mag but are they considered as MGs? But British Bren only have a 30 rds banana clip and it is still a "machinegun"? can anyone enlightened me please

How can you suggest sending SAF soldiers to fight in other people's wars when you don't even know such a simple thing? -
Rifle: A firearm with a rifled bore, designed to be fired from the shoulder.
Defined by length of bore and grooves in barrel, aka accuracy and rounds with strong penetrating power.
Machine gun: A firearm that fires rapidly and repeatedly.
Defined by the numerous repetition of shots within a short timeframe, thus usually not suitable to be fired without a mount or proper training.
Sub-machine guns: A portable firearm that can fire rapidly and repeatedly.
Defined by lightweight and low recoil (pistol rounds) with similar standards for repeated shots, thus making it safe for shooting without a mount.
Assault rifles: Similar to rifles except it's capable of firing rapidly and repeatedly. Though that will be compensated with lower accuracy.
Pistol : A small firearm designed to be fired from the hand and loads with magazines.
Revolver: Similar to pistol except it's loaded through chambers with revolving cylinders.
Handgun: A generic term for firearm that can be used with one arm.
Musket: A smoothbore firearm designed to be fired from the shoulder using spherical pellets. -

Assault Rifles and Sub-machine guns are totally different from Rifles and Machine Guns respectively.
As discussed previously,
Rifle: Accurate, portable and deadly.
Assault Rifles: Deadly, portable and rapid.
Sub-machine guns: Weak, portable and rapid.
Machine Guns: Deadly, bulky and rapid. (Machine guns do comprise of a barrel that can exchanged due to rapid firing.) -
Anyway all u need to noe is to how to operate guns and shoot people and you got a war! Well flame me if you like, but why should i care if u disagree with me, I stood very firmly here and I like war and that will be my fact HAHAHAHA

A fight is a scuffle between two parties.
A battle is an armed encounter between two opposing force.
A war is a state of armed conflicts between nations, parties, states, oftenly carried over a prolonged period.
You only know how to engage in a fight.

dont bother with the little Caesar here.. he might even be a 9 year old if his username reflects his year of birth... then again ive met less childish 9 year old before... so i think he is a pimply grown teenager with an 8 year old brain
