i expect they show up at when the jet salute at NDP.
Not the style of hao-lian SAF leh...they show us the submarine ASAP after the sub arrive sg.
(maybe i must learn from CHEE, Shout at LHL..WHAT ARE OUR AH-64?)

The Apaches are still in the US. None have arrived here yet. That is why Teo Chee Hean had to fly to the US to take a look at them. If they were in S'pore already, why would he fly to the US to view them? DUH!!!!
And for the uninitiated, you don't simply buy an attack helicopter & then fly it out to "show off" just like that. It takes time to train the pilots AND the maintenance crew. And this is the first attack helicopter RSAF is being & needless to say, flying an attack helicopter is very different from a Super Puma.
The smart thing to do is ensure our pilots & air crew have enough training before sending our Apaches airborne in Singapore. The dumb thing to do, is simply launch them ASAP just to "show off". -

comfirm haven't deploy at sembawang air base yet...
my house can be said to be quite close to that place and they keep flying their chinooks and puma's pass my hse window...or about 50 M higher...so haven't seen or heard it yet...wonder when i wld get to see an apache fly past my window -
