Hi all,during Army Open House I saw this dummy with a Holster the SOF uses.Can anyone share what type of holster it is?Or even provide some pics.Thanks.I'm looking at getting another holster besides my current thigh rig.Thinking of getting a speed holster like the one the SOF uses.Thanks

Dont think you can buy those you saw used by SOF off the shelves... maybe you can check with those who run the shooting club that you are current with...

Erm, if it was exhibited at the AOH, it passed the battery of tests by god knows how many agencies before it can be seen by the public. One of which is MSD.
So what's so hush hush about the photo?

Because if it's at such an event like Open House, it has to had passed inspection.
Once you tell him who made it (unless we did), he'd be able to check the manufact's website. -
Not the one in the posted pic.AS it is made of ballistic nylon or sumthing.The one the SOF uses is metal and carbon fibre or sumthing

Frankly I question your need of your holster ! If any range ever let you carry it around in a holster and practise drawing from holster and shoot like a cowboy, it sure is bypassing shooting safety ! ..... so even if is Safra shoot club ! well, holsters are not contraband...so we just provide him some suggestions and brands. whether the range allows or not is not our concern liao...Originally posted by storywolf:Frankly I question your need of your holster ! What wrong with asking him ? I mean there are a few other who ask. We have a young man wanting to buy holster here ! To hold what ? yes just take it that he is going to put a milk bottle in that holster and carry it around. Is this the type of attiude maybe when he shoot accidently someone from your family then you start to get concern ..... otherwise who cares it is someone else got shot because we thought he is gona to carry a milk bottle in that holster ! -
Just a case where some kid imagines himself as some special operations wannabe without going through the pain of selection and training. Hell i dont think he even know how REAL army works. come to BMT first, feel the pain of being abused by the instructors... even though it is a bit relaxed now, then you will know how tiring it is.Its not just about shooting a weapon, any chimpanzee cant do the job equally

well, every range got its own RI one...when u draw arm also got people see one...since when u see people using holsters to holster the firearm ? SPF exception cos holster is compulsory. even if airsoft also don't allow u to bring bag into the range and stuff.
