What do support unit do in a infantry regiment ?Hang on - do you mean "support company" or "support unit"?
u forgot to mention the scout platoon...Originally posted by Moxie:Hang on - do you mean "support company" or "support unit"?
A Support COY within a SIR unit consists of a mortar platoon, signal platoon, antitank platoon & pioneer platoon. Together with HQ COY & 3 line COY's, they form one infantry battalion.
A Support unit itself could be combat-based like 3rd SIG BN, or service-based like 6th DS MED BN.

haha u think you are playing C&C generals ar?Originally posted by SibeiSuayKia:so can we have robot scouts in the future?
in which we modify the robot scout UAV to go 500km/hour
and armed with 15 mm chain gun below the belly..and ability to hover and kill
+ couples with 4 hell fires to balance + a good engine..
then we can have robot sentries..using detection of 37 degrees celsius body heat..lock on to the enemy..
