Correct.Rafael Armaments and Elbit have done wonders to US-made aircraft for decades, F-15s included too.Originally posted by storywolf:Sorry to boy, carrier groups so what ?
Sorry to tell you boy, you got your information wrong, a lot of countries like singapore have F16s more advance then USAF, it is common know fact, there are system out there that are more advance then US ones, like from isreal.
So what a carrier group ? with combine attack of missile boats, subs and airplanes ,think the carrier group also have more than it can handle.
With all those airplanes , operating from different bases it will give the carrier group no end of risks. If can co-ordinate to attack, with planes, missile boats and subs, it will sure to overload the defenses of the carrier group.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Interesting scenario.Let's put things into perspective here...
If we take the cream of ASEAN's air forces,e.g RSAF F-16C/Ds Block 52(Israeli mods), RMAF's MIG-29Ks, F/A-18E/Fs, RTAF's F-16A/Bs, and their respective naval platforms, e.g RSN's Delta-class frigates, RMN's Lekiu-class frigates. We may be able to sting back, but only if we have a comprehensive and coherent logisitical backbone that can really integrate our armed forces into a networked force. If you include Australia into the picture, things might change a little, becuase of the entrance of the Collins-clas subs , which are one of the deadliest diesel electric subs this side of the world currently...Many people fail to realise that the Straits of Malacca is a trap for any bluewater navy when faced with a littoral force that has been operating here for decades.
Relative to the starter of the thread who cannot even compared singapore armed forces with the PLA, SBSK knows a lot. People who have information but are unable to analyse and draw sensible conclusion can talk nonsense; those who know but cannot differentiate the difference between right or wrong may also talk nonsense; those who think knowing a lot will not talk nonsense is talking nonsense (how much is a lot); those whose ideas you disagree may also be deemed to speak nonsense (by you);.....open your mind and accept different opinion!!Originally posted by storywolf:When you became as dumb as him !!! if he know a lot , he will not be talking nonsense.
Have you not heard of Japan attempting to get a permament seat on the UN Security Council? They will have to revoke one of their articles in their post-war Constitution to re-arm, because being a SC member has this requirement.Originally posted by SibeiSuayKia:Britain?? HHAHA..
don't forget how they lose singapore to the japanese during WWII
reinforcements come so late...only some troopers landed in Burma..
British warships need many weeks to reach China..
travel to the bottom of spain..towards italy..near mediterranean..
down to suez canal..after oman...away from india..
towards malacca straits...to south china sea...
FINALLY reach. But too bad , foreign intelligence knows the ship is there..
ka boom.
so far also very tough to deploy SAS..
British also don't have alot of aircraft carriers , but those helicarriers which doubles as VTOL carriers for harrier II , again..harrier II loses out with SU-30's air superiority.
Japan?
SDF doesn't allow JAPAN to declare war . Only when China invades Japan
then allowed to fight back.
USA forces in Japan might strike China , it's too tough to invade inside China...
If i should say, India doesn't really have the strength to match with China in terms of aerial arms cause China is decomissioning the MIG-21 and India is still planning to keep it..
And Russia is no longer mighty USSR..
So , i wouldn't say much now.
China needs just a few more years to get it stuffs right..
What do u think?
Cambodia, Laos,Thailand , Vietnam really if add up and use viet cong tactics
might win.
i think all combined also cannot match up to taiwan's air power
The good thing is that...they act as a buffer zone...
India AF the capabilities AS at now is most or less equivalent to RSAF ..
after analysing some of the data..
alot of the growing super-powers..all
