Ok, the americans are known to do some stuffs and conduct underground research and testing...
so far after seeing people's vocation and the camps they served..
ive noticed that they all come from those open air bunkers..
Despite having close friends who got sensitive information..ive failed to know anything about the underground bunker
Anyone has any specific information about the MINDEF underground Mandai Bunker?
As we all know it was being built recently with latest technologies and it
is a so called ammo "dump"
As you can see from one of the pictures...it is VERY huge...
Singapore has been known to store some ammo in their SAF "warehouses"
So i suspect that Mandai Underground facility could have been used by our
SAF to store nuclear warheads.

Just for academic curiosity, I am NOT advocating WMD, is it a logical option for Singapore to acquire a few nukes as a deterrent? A major advantage would be that we can significantly cut down conventional weaponry and standing forces. (Of course this is not a solution against terrorism) -

i think about 10 years ago, some journalist interviewed those soldiers who "held the key" to "the button" on both sides of the Iron Curtain..
they interviewed the yanks... and found out that the soldiers were going to disobey orders to launch even when they see that the soviets have launched...
then they interviewed the soviet soldiers.. and they said exactly the same thing.. that they will not launch even if the yanks attacked...
after reading all about MAD, then these revelations, i wonder what the nukes were for? -

My biggest guess for the nukes are basically just as a deterent and a bait for terrorists to get hold of them to use on us. Otherwise i doubt they will use them as the effect of just a nuke is very very traumatic. Maybe they will use it as a deterent to Aliens? lol...
Another possible use is if there ever comes a day a bloodie huge meteor comes towards earth. Then perhaps like wat they did in the movie to blow the meteor so that it avoids earth.

The SAF probably will have so many safeguards on them they'd probably be harder to see or touch than Rachel Lee's boobs.
Seriously, the amount of safeguards normally applied to anything related to nuclear weapons borders on the EXTREME.
A good safeguard is the storage of the weapon in seperate halves.
Which means that the weapon is stored in two halves, and when it's wanted to be used, it'd be mated and checked out. -
