Role of women in the military

I am doing a presentation on the role of women in the military,so are there any resources available about the role of women in the SAF over the Internet?
What roles do they serve and are there restrictions on their duties? -
Maybe there's some academic theses/dissertations over in the NUS library (no promises).

Before everybody starts calling up MSD, it was open source, and published in a magazine. I kept it because the officer was someone i knew.

But if you are still in the service, just do a simple call to G1, or ask your friendly Chief Clerk/ Manpower Officer.

And we did have an female Arty BN CO.
The best source for info anywhere is simply, straight in your own organisation.
There is black and white for the vocations women are allowed to do in the SAF.
Damned if i can remember all of them. -
i seen a female LTC from RSAF before.
btw, LTC is the hignest rank a female officer can go. -

Better yet, find the prettiest female servicewoman you can and tell her that "Mdm, your so hot, you make me soft. I think you can serve the country better by being a comfort woman. You can start with me!"
Either way, you won't last long if you have this attitude.

Firstly, its bullsh*t that there are no females in combat roles. Go to NDU & tell that to CPT Esther Tan. Secondly, the current highest ranking female is LTC but that's not the ceiling. I've even seen the rank insignia for BG, but of course in a small army like our's its quite unlikely to have a female BG.
Also, those who have negative things to say about female soldiers are either MCPs, or losers who are embarassed by the fact that some ladies have accomplished more than they themselves can accomplish in 3 lifetimes!! -
