If you get around a lot of the units, esp MINDEF and such, you shall find that generally the DXOs are more alluring.
i can count on one hand the amount of combat servicewomen i saw that would be appealing to the civilian male. -
Things are changing in the SAF with respect to the roles women are playing. There is a general push for more of them into combat roles. I know personally, cos i was in an armour unit with 2 of them. I don;t think anything is concrete, yet, as many of the higher command are just observing how far they can go. Rules change with time. Last time policeman wear shorts.

I recall my active outfit used to have 3 "pioneering" female servicemen, all average-looking & one even a bit cherubic (but was most feminine among the trio). A lot of peng had ended up having mini-crushes on them, revisionistly pathetic with the latter cuz she was with the Medical Centre & a lot of non-sick personnel happened to drop by daily for eye-candy relief ~lol~ She was vain enough to occasionally flirt too!
IMO The canteen/mess teenage helpers (older children of the mom-&-pop stallholders) were much prettier. I even managed to ask one of them to see movie at Beauty World, though she turned down my invitation to go to a Saturday tea dance - too young, I guess, at age 16 or thereabouts. -
I seen a female LTC at CMPB before
Very nice leh her rank on the collar of her No.3?
Can't Imagine if COL how? 3 "crabs" full on her collar

Take it personally, i went around too many units and made MINDEF/CMPB my 2nd home. The only females worth looking at were the civilian DXOs and on occasion, the canteen operators.
However recently i have seen some WOs that are something....

btw, i saw a female OCT in no.3 before. her rank is very funny. gross, i don't know how to describe. -

Did you know that a female can become a FMN chief?
And there's insignia somewhere for all the female ranks alraedy.
All this is in BLACK and WHITE somewhere in the reams of paper of G1 Army.
Two interesting things i remember until today:
Service Servicewomen are exempted from IPPT after they give birth, regardless of age.
(Hmm. Sign on, give birth, no ippt.)
You may not assign "sai kang" to servicewomen.
You may not order them to do pumping unless on cse/traning, and in proper attire.
*so dont have thoughts of knocking down a servicewoman in no.3*

Not asking a woman to knock it down when she is in no 3 is pure common sense lah. U put on a skirt & you knock it down & let me whether firstly its possible, and secondly even if you can do it, tell me whether you will "run light" or not?

Which deserves a good answer.
Besides all the "official" informal punishments, there are of course the normal formal charges, such as Summary Trial, GCM, yadda yadda.
BUT!
Servicewomen cannot be assigned extra work, only "work befitting their gender and service status"
And they cannot be confined during weekends if there is no accomodation for them, or they are confined from 0800 to 2200.
They officially cannot be knocked down, unless on course, or training, in proper attire.
They cannot be ordered to shave bald or crew-cut. -

But i personally read of a female REC who attempted to suicide and was discharged.
A female servicewoman who commited ammo offence and was given a day of DB, and discharged. -
Females require more protection in service since:
1) How many cases of sexual harrassment have you seen filed by guys against women?
2) They are there on a volunteer basis so they only get one strike (maybe slightly more) before they get discharged. Obviously not a good thing for them if they choose to join up in the first place.
3) Women have more issues than men, especially with their hormones and monthly business.
