Wah lao eh...this is wrong...they are not following the rules accordingly to international maritime law!Originally posted by seachfun:Simple answer. When the flag is down they are pirate, if trouble than quickly raise up the flag turn into a navy ship.
You could clarify with our navy, they have many stories of it, as well encounter these type of incident when they received distress signal for help & once they reach the location, flag change immediately occurred. This happen many many years back not just recently.

As far as i know, computer stuff is not taxable by Malaysia Custom...Originally posted by esesce:George Yeo go UN & KPKB about Taiwan when its really none of his business. So why doesn't he go to KPKB to Susili Bambang Yudhoyono now?
And its obvious that its was all about $$$$$$$. Just like wat occurs at M'sian customs. Just last month my uncle (a M'sian) came out to S'pore to buy a PC from Sim Lim 'cos cheaper. At M'sian side he kena stop. The guy claimed all the stuff needs license to bring in. He then boldy said "Deepavali coming lah. U know lah, need to buy things" & then stuck out his hand. Farker, like that also can!! Its a super direct request for bribes lor!![]()
They said if its a complete PC then no tax. But since it was a DIY PC, so seperate components, there is a tax 'cos apparently some jokers bring in in bulk then go & sell.Originally posted by kops21:As far as i know, computer stuff is not taxable by Malaysia Custom...
Ur malaysian uncle dunno the rules, i guess....anyway, at the end of the day..they just want $$$$.
George Yeo where are you? Why never go & KPKB at them?Originally posted by SibeiSuayKia:luckily this case is reported in straits times, so alot of attention given..
i wonder what will happen to those "isolated cases" bo intervention by MFA..
Maybe, might still need to pay $$
idwar actually supports TUDM/MAFOriginally posted by Typhoon:If there's going to be a war with Indonesia, we'd better get that idwar chap from the Speaker's Corner. He'll have many imaginative ways to whack the poor indons, which may or may not involve Christmas island crabs, forest fires, or the early history of Singapura![]()
