Noticed that there were a couple of spams in this forum and the moderators simply locked the thread so that no one else can post. I believe that the thread should simply be deleted as otherwise, the spammers would have achieved their objective of getting exposure.
We usually lock it up with a warning. But perhaps next time we should just edit it and say no spamming before locking it.Anyway thanks for your feedback.
I guess the message can remain but the contact (e.g. HP number, e-mail etc etc) would have to be removed/edited from the post in order to achieve the effect of removal exposure...
The message can remain as a form of identification of the spammer so that moderators across different forums may take note cos these guys are normally "fire and forget" (post same spamming msg in many many many forums esp the higer ranked ones) and "hit and run" (resgister just for that purpose, post already then zao liao..)
What do you guys think?
