The magazine you need is "Openmind" look it up it is a mental health magazine in UK, you need it more then janes or asia defense. -

there are so many books on this topic, that one has to be more selective and focused if one does not wish to become overwhelmed.
as for magazines, again, it depends on your interest - whether its military history, technology, politico-military, specific to region, country, etc. there are alot of titles, but unfortunately, they cant be easily found in singapore.
you can try asian defence and diplomacy, janes' series of magazines. but do take note most of these are quite ex. -
and you can save money to buy those more ex magazines with more reliable datas... by chucking your ADJ crap magazine down the nearest rubbish bin......
