Cheng (Gun) got spirit ?

  While i still in SPF, got a few OLs tell me guns got spirit one, if u are feeling very down, they will 'take over' u and cause u to kill urself with the gun.
  
  Any comments ? Especially from the SAF side.

  that really depend on your belief. But remember if gun or knife have spirit, than all the more you must treat it with total respect. If you treat it well, then if there is really spirit inside, it will come to your aid and not harm you.

  i dun tat its true lah. to me, i only believe tat living things have spirit, not any other metalic objects.

  I believe its not so much a spirit. Rather, guns calls for a deep form of respect, and out of this respect people easily mistake things and term a spiritual existance.
  
  We respect the guns because they are what is used to kill and protect ourselves. Knives can also have spirits then, and I did hear that before. This can be likened to the Colours of a unit. The guns of the artillery, incidentally, are also accorded the respect of a Colour.

  cos the guns are so super expensive and are able to kill alot of people in just one shot,difficult to not respect
