Face the fact, F-16 is no match against SU-30.
Antara sbb, F-16 design lama, w/pon -16D bertekno tinggi namun baseline ttp design lama. SU-30 design baru dari baseline F-16.
Single engine vs. Twin?Mmg lawak...kalau dah F-15 USAF yg 2 enjin pon jadik lauk dek SU-30MKI, inikan pula F-16!
Pada aku, the ONLY true 'buku dengan ruas' opponent utk SU-30MKI/MKM adalah F-22 Raptor!
BVR aside, pit both a/c in classic dogfight (wvr), dan lihatlah, pasti tough fight for both. That's why USAF had asked to get more F-22 into operational status selepas exercise ngan IAF tu.
CONSIDER THIS. It is widely known that USAF/USN fighter jocks have the best training, hence tactics. So bila F-15USAF falls prey to SU-30MKI, it doesn't really show tactics could win in this respect. Kalau dibandingkan pilot2 USAF vs. pilot2 "Govinda" (hero hindustan)IAF memang tak setaraf. So what went wrong? USAF's tactics, or IAF tactics?
Well, it clearly showed that the winning platform is superior, in this case SU-30MKI. Even less superior IAF pilot, jika dibandingkan dgn USAF pilot pon dpt beat the latter!
Tu pasallah USAF lepas tu push hard on F-22 to expedite mission readiness/replace F-15. -
Hmmmm, but the Su-30 guzzles fuel and is not so easy to mantain. And I still stand by the F-15.
