  i am a ncc cadet and is going for my senior spec course this december...just wanna ask what ssc is all about, what are we tested...and what are we going to do there? thx.

  me last time oso from ncc but i didnt go for the course.. wasted... i never even go for my spec course...

  yeah...i think last time senior spec course is called UDI course

  You will be practising your footdrills and armsdrills.However,you will be assessed on NOT your drills but how well you will be able to teach them to your "cadets" who will be played by your fellow trainees......and yes,it used to be the UDI course of old.....

  During the briefing before the course starts, you will be given a CD don't know containing what because it was not meant for me, maybe contains the manual. You will be required to teach one arm drill and one foot drill if I'm not wrong.

  its simple,dun worry too much about it..if you got selected to go in there,you most probably got the goods already..just flow through it,dun worry too much..unless u wanna be the best...

  teach you how to use the pacestick to mark distance and other stuffs.

  Yup,pacestick drills also a must.YOu will get to see the new RSM throw his beret and drop the pacestick to everyone's utter shock and amazement.

  "At this point of time, you recruits are not the lowest ranking ppl here... look at those kids, no matter what rank they are in their ncc, they are still lower rank than u guys... happy? "

  Anyway,Senior Spec. Course aka UDI course is chicken feet.Basically after your spec course everything should be okay.It alright one,dun worry.

  once u don the uniform u worse than a rec, simply because u so called 'wannbes' (that was what my csm told me haha)
