, but how is everyonr dealing with the sudden school closure??? 
i mean won't the bands lose practise time 
. so how is everyone going to deal with this. and is the SYF postponed well anyway i wish all band members taking part in the SYF the very best of luck.

If the SARS cannot be contained by April 6th, that means schools will not reopen........if schools not reopen, SYF still cannot take place........I think it will be postponed indefinitely UNTIL things have settled down. I dont think anything we hear now can be confirmed, not with the slowly but increasing number of deaths due to the potentially virus.
Who knows? It may even be held during the June holidays? And then maybe judges will be locals? The officers from SAF bands and Police Band and the deans of our local music faculties (SCM, NAFA and Lasalle) sure look to be certain choices?
Next possibility? SYF cancelled? It'll be quite sad for those who had practiced so hard (especially the sec 4s) and not have another chance to gain glory for their school and to leave behind more fond memories of their school life.
Oh well, god bless those hit by SARS and may some doctor / researcher find some cure for it. Otherwise it will be very damaging to everyone. -

our band had practice very hard during the holiday, and almost ready for SYF.............guys were motivated and and conductor was quite happy with our progress on the last practice.
it`s difficult for everyone to raise our band standard again after such long break, but we have to do it! and sure we can. -

and SIM is just next door, they close for 10 days
we are directly hit by SARS and they are not

But my these 3 days kinda wasted like dat, no life. Everyday zhuo bo lan...
