But what if u do somethk serious.. like u killed her. Then how?Originally posted by men_@_arms:usually. Mood swings happen and there is nothing wrong with them. What matters is what you do afterwards that counts.
E.g. some silly female user was dissing me about how i couldn;t cook or something. I took offence and snapped, i realised i snapped and apologised at the end.
What matters is what u do afterwards.
zealot rush the mood swingOriginally posted by _Aaron_:Never mind. Forget the previous post.
Think i will change it to, "How to combat mood swings."
Ideas anyone?
Next time when you're feeling something like that, just find somewhere to sit down and rest... Enjoy the scenery or have a drink...Originally posted by _Aaron_:But personally i think its kinda scary.
I haven't experienced one for some time, but yesterday at 4+ i suddenly felt a deep sense of loss.
Its almost like a part of me suddenly died. Scary...
Then there are periods of time in my life that i just feel so sad and lonely, not coincidentally, i call them my 'periods'. It was so bad that i would cross the road, and ponder whether to let it hit me.
haha, sometimes i think i'm half-depressed.
usually this type of feelings are associated with a deep melancholic event in the past or loss of a loved one ..Were u attached to someone b4 ?Originally posted by _Aaron_:But personally i think its kinda scary.

Attached to someone? Not really, but i had 2 friends die on me the past 2 years. Perhaps i never did grieve properly for the second one..Originally posted by MunnaBhai_MBBS:usually this type of feelings are associated with a deep melancholic event in the past or loss of a loved one ..Were u attached to someone b4 ?
2ndly if u expereince this feelings without any apparent reason are those with a low self esteem or inferiority complex...Suggest that u see a counsellor or psychiatrist...
really will hor? really can feel mood swing coming right? and i thought i am weird, no offence... most of my friends think i am weird too.Originally posted by Rhonda:Hmm... I try to be alone if I feel a mood swing coming on. I'll also try to let my close friends know in advance so they can siam (scoot away). hehe!Sometimes, I try to rationalise myself out of it. Sometimes, I indulge in a little self-pity then I realise how ridiculous I sound then laugh over it and it's gone. It's best to acknowledge it, say to yourself, 'OK, I'm feeling sad / depressed / angry / moody / frustrated / whatever because it's just a mood swing and it'll pass.' Then go do something nice like listen to music, watch TV, etc.
Good thing about mood swings is... they pass.Just be conscious of it and make sure that when they pass, it's not like a hurricane passing by, leaving massive destruction in its wake! hahaha! Good luck taming da monster!
