How do we know that we have let go...

I came across an album I put together early this year, but as I flipped through it, I no longer feel any of the emotions that I felt everytime I looked through the album in the last half year. But i still treasure the album and am not willing to throw or hide away the album.
No feelings...does that mean I have finally let go of the past?
Not willing to throw the album...does that mean I have not let go?

The only way to know that you have already let go of your past is when you're no longer affected by the past. You can still treasure the memory, but you must move on. Moving on is a difficult part for I am still being reminded of him even though we're already separated.

As for not throwing away something that reflects your past, i think it's not that you have not let go, it's that the beautiful memories are treasured by you. Memories are not to be thrown away, but to keep them and remind you of the wonderful events that has happened in your life. -

Not willing to throw away album cause you want to retain what little sentimental values it has. Its a good thing.
Its like memories... you don't want to forget some things... Nothing wrong with that.

your plan actions and indecisiveness and clearly shown that u`ve not really let the past be buried into the depths of your heart..

all things takes time
letting go is a natural proccess
u cant rush it or try hard at it

moving on means letting go. letting go means u no longer have feelings whatsoever to that person. you might have the memories, but u do not feel anything special to the person anymore.

Memories are kept - but you have moved on.
Don't think that you have not let go off the past - in fact, you got used to your current new phrase in love and life.
P.S: Astrologically speaking, people with strong 4th house placing, major planets in water element (especially in sign of Cancer) will have this tendency to keep thingy. Don't read too much into your action - it only mean something if you want it to mean something.
