Hate.
I remember reading a bit from this book "Emotional Intelligence" or something that relates to EQ. Forgot who the author was. You may want to grab it.
But IMHO, Hate can happen because of many things. Let me just list one. Envy.
When we see someone who has a beautiful wife, living in a bungalow, drives a benz, changes car every month, and is a very successful person, and we compare him to ourselves, it can lead to several endings, but lets stick to the topic.
1) Hatred of him: You start to hate him. Hate him for having everything you wanted, 'so near yet so far', especially if he's a good friend.
2) Hatred of self: You hate yourself for not having what he has, for not being able to achieve the state of success he's enjoying.
3) Hatred of world: You start to hate the world, blaming everything that its unfair, how he grew up with a golden spoon in his mouth, etc.
This is one of the sources of Hate i guess.. -
