Well said. I can't understand whats all the craze about losing weight just for the sake of appearance. Whats wrong with having a curvy figure?Originally posted by KumSioJui:jogging can burn ah .. but must patient.
wats yur waist too skinny is very ugly wor? yur not one of those crazy gers want to lose weight until look like a bag of bones r u?
Correct.... I can't stand girls who are obssessed with losing weight just to look good. Believe me, once you get into the trap of losing weight, it's hard to break out of the vicious cycle. No matter how much weight you lose, you'll keep thinking that it's not enough.Originally posted by pete98:Well said. You can START with JOGGING and other AEROBIC EXERCISES.. Even if you don't slim down, at least they'll keep you HEALTHY YEAH...??Originally posted by cOnFuSiOn:Hi
Well, most people tell me that i look ok. When I tell my classmates tt i have a tummy.. most didnt believe.. i am a sporty gal. perhaps tt's y... I have tried many ways to lose those extra inches around my waist. Tried slimming in beauty salons.. it worked... but the unfortunate thing was i onli got 2cm off. the fortunate thing is tt the 2cm is off permanently. I have tried doing sit ups for the front and the sides. but it doesnt seem to work. my fren told me tt doing too many situps may cause u to build so much muscles that ur fats wrapping around those muscles will look more bulky. is it true? do anyone have gd ideas on how to get rid of those extra inches off my waist? i wanan fit into my bikini soon... sice i finish my A levels.. wanan head to the beach.. but with tt tummy, i realli got no confidence.. should i try those slimming creams and pills like tuimmy trim? anyone tried? does it work?
hmm...yur right we will never understand why u gers got food dun wan to eat, want to starve wan to hunger. Trade places with anybody from somalia you can go there and starve and hunger and die looking like a beautiful bag of bones that you always wanted ... great idea keep it up.Originally posted by droopyeyes:hmm..

haha... coz my sch uni is baggy.. it's big... so u cant realli see... in fact, i love to wear big baggy clothes... feel very comfortable in it.. especially when u go for buffets... but i like to experiment... always trying out a new look when i have time... so i do like wearing sth tighter sometimes... and when i do, i just cant stand seeing tt straight figure... feel tt it's a pity tt u ahve the boobs and ass but the waist is like... perhaps if i'm smaller size, i wouldnt mind... but i have pretty broad shoulders due to the years of commitment to sports... so my wiast realli look big...Originally posted by fudgester:Correct.... One of my men lost nearly 30 kg during BMT and its aftermath. Yet he keeps insisting that he's fat (his BMI is 21.5...... perfectly normal) and keeps burning his meagre NSF pay on those stupid diet pills endorsed by those bimbotic MediaCorp stars (flame me all you want..... I'll still utterly condemn those bloody pills and the people who endorse them).
Anyway, you yourself said that your friends are ok with your appearance. So what's the problem?!?!?!
What's your height and weight? Do tell us so that we can give a more well-informed piece of advice.
no no no... i dun wanna look thin... i just wan to look a bit more proportionate? dunno if tt's thw eord.. but u noe wad i mean...Originally posted by _Aaron_:Well, seriously. I don't see a problem.
If you look good to your friends, and you feel that you're still fat... Its all in the mind girl. After all, you don't expose your waist to everyone right? (Unless of course, you're one of those who wear exposing shirts and all).
In fact, there's this stupid belief in many girls i've talked to, that they're fat. Its really ridiculous, because they do not, and are definately not fat. They then try to waste lots of $$ trying to slim down, when there's nothing to!
Besides, men aren't looking for perfectly thin women, some fats in the right places are good.
Just know that if you've tried your best, and it still doesn't work, and its not a problem to anyone but yourself, you should probably move on~!
o btw, i am standing at 162cm, 53kg.. like i said weight isnt tt important to me... it's alla bout looking good and hence feeling good... healthy in the inside and outside... i dun go for extreme diets like models...Originally posted by fudgester:Correct....
