Except for NUS and NTU, which other Uni in Sg is recognised for their degree in Engineering courses? -
ermm.. frankly speaking why u so anti NUS / NTU??

ya i noe. i posted in there liao, but dun seem to get much help mah..
anyway i not anti NUS or NTU ok, he's a graduate from poly, so getting in Ntu is a problem as they require good grades, but he grades aren't tat gd. omg.. -
Hmmm, try other courses. Cos I think it's not very possible to do engineering by distance learning now.
Not yet, cos engineering is a technical course and more guidance is needed for students.
Why not try biz courses?
BTW, if u can't do well in poly, it's better to go overseas. Cos NTU/NUS courses are rather competitive. -
The problem is he got a dip in Engrg and is hoping to get into a local uni in sg tat provides Engrg courses where his interest lies in.......headache..

not that i`m saying your `problem` is not solem enuff..
but a general enquiry will normally get better responses else where...

i feel that it`s always better to go overseas to study
perhaps UWA or USW
nothing is as gd as being in sch to study
and the other so called `uni from overseas` that are studied here and examed here gives much less credit than if u were at the uni itself.. -

However, the thing is he cannot go overseas to pursue his studies cuz he is working and he needs to save $$ too. -
you can try working for some time, build up some credibility before you try to apply for part time degree with nus or ntu. i know of others who've done that.Originally posted by kiekie:I second the above..

he actuali called up one of the uni and found out tat it will be a credit if he had a year of working exp. as for getting into ntu we aren't sure, cuz we nv called and enquire. cuz we tot sure no hope one

grades not good nvm.... must impt is got job experienc.e.. preferarbly 2-3 yrs..
where u get the degree is more impt than when u get the degree...
