Why should ur bf be paying for everything?? I believe u should go dutch even though he's working. Only when he's obliged to pay for u, then he pays. I don't see why this unhealthy stereotyped idea of guys should pay for anything should continue.

Guess most of the time the guy will end up paying.. if guy == working && ger not working, then guy should pay.. else.. both can chip and pay at different points in the date lor..
Also depends on the expectation of the ger.. some gers will always expect the guy to pay for EVERYTHING.. which i tink is not too fair..
best is each pay for ownself..
About not having enuff money when offering to pay... how can?? neber remember how much he has before going out meh?? got no ATM or NETS or CashCard or Credit Card or Debit Card meh?? Or the place only accpets cash?? U tink wat?? company located in industrial estate or wat?? -
Sometimes he pay...sometimes I pay. When he was in NS...pay pathetic, I paid for most of the things and will buy him things he want. Now he ORD and has a job liao, he pays for almost everything. And he even saving to bring me on a tour. I think money matters is a sensitive topic and must be handled well. We all know that it's embarrassing for a guy to ask a gal to pay in front of the cashier...and I know my bf will feel paiseh too...so normally before paying, I'll always ask if he has enough money. Or sometimes I'll check his wallet...if he no money, I'll put some in...so that in front of others, it'll seem as if he is the one paying and not me.
