Moisturizer on Acne /Oily Skin

Does anyone out there use moisturizer on acne/ oily skin? I have seen several articles that actually says that ppl with acne/ oily skin should not neglect to apply moisturizer on their face so that the face will not overproduce oil instead.
Any good brands of moisturizer that will not worsen acne? personally everytime i tried applying, I will feel that it will harm my pimples instead. -
Hi, I STRONGLY recommend u use Origins 'Make a Difference'...it so gd that u can use it alone or under make up.....Try it.....its the best!!!! i have been using it for 2 years and it smoothen your face too....have a chat with the friendly consultants where they can advise you....

You should try to remove dead skin on your face before applying anything, otherwise it is useless. Cos you will be apply the "good" stuff onto the dead skin which "they" do not need.

I think it all depends on a person's skin type.
Suggest that u try yahoo auctions to get those sample version and try on ur skin so that u can test which is good.
For me, any kind of moisturer will cause mi pimples if I put it on under makeup or in anytime besides sleeping time. So I ONLY put loads of moisturer when I am going to sleep and never on other occassions.
oh...1 tip. For those who wants to get rid of their pimples fast. Try putting alot of moisturer on the pimple..and let it grow "big" so that u can get rid of it fast. Rather having to "play the waiting game"

i always keena acne.. i wash regularly too. dunno wats wrong sia...
also i keep tending to rub against the pimple. causing it to burst by accident. zzz -

you need moisturizer for your skin (regardless of any skin type) to moisturzie it, to hydrate it.
if your skin is oily/acne type, then use something that is "oil-free".
some say, it would be better to use gel-type moisturizer for oily skin, and cream-type for dry/normal skin. -

Wouldn't it be dangerous to let the pimple grow to a big size & turn out to be the type that has no "seed" to burst, will be real painful oh.
I thought its better to put tea tree oil or pimple cream to let it dry up before it goes out of control. -

I have the same probl as you last time but after i tried Origins.....my skin and complexion is better each day...trust me...i recommend to all my friends and they like it too.....
I used to think that my skin are sensitive that's y always got break-out after makeup and scare of using moisturisers...but Origins make me change my mind......Skins can be improved ......with proper skin care regime and products..... -

tink pimple cream, the neutrugena "on the spot" is gd!oxy is too strong...clearasil aso quite strong...both 10% benzol peroxide..tink 2.5% is enuff. -

some products specially for acne are medicated. but of cos try to use those mildly-medicated, just in case your skin cannot take it. try going to watson and look for some products which suit your skin. (Dun go guardian because the promoters there always trying to burn your pocket)
--> maybe you can continue using neutragena facial wash and toner, but use medicated scrub (for acne) weekly. hope it does improve your condition.
for moisturizer.. does neutragena have moisturizer? i'm those type who will go for full set of product to see the effect.
since your face has acne, i reckon your skin type is oily???? try to use gel-moisturizer or oil-free moisturizer. it's a must to use moisturizer because it actually helps to hydrate your skin.
i'm currently using L'OREAL Pure Zone Continuous Purity "Anti-Regreasing Moisturizer".
Bear in mind that sometimes you take a few weeks to see the gradually improvement in your skin. Facial products are never miracle pills. -

use moisturizer that is oil free.
or if u have sensitive skin.. stick to moisturizer that is oil free and alcohol free.
this is because sensitive skin is very delicate and if you use products with alcohol content, it may irritate the skin and cause blemishes.
clean your face regularly with oil free facial foam or facial wash. do not squeeze your acne or pimple or it will further irritate the whole area around the acne.. then it will cause more pimples and acne to pop out. then your whole face will end up with many pimples.
just go to facials regularly like once or twice a month. concentrate on those acne treatment facials. these facials will soothe and calm your skin and then your acne will be better. but aftercare is very important. so invest in suitable facial foam and face masks. don't blot your face unnecessarily as it will cause more oil to be form.
after washing your face, use alcohol free and oil free toner to tone your skin.. then apply one thin layer of the acne free cream (or pimple cream etc), then apply moisturizer.. then apply another thin layer of acne free cream. this will prevent the acne from spreading to the whole area.
no matter how bad the acne becomes... u should never squeeze it. u haf to leave it to the experts to do it.
if you have those acne or pimple without the "head".. it is recommended that you go see a dermatalogist to get a cortisone jab to make the acne disappear. just don't squeeze it! -
I have been using Vichy thermal s matt for the past few days & it's good! it's oil free & mattifying, so the skin looks soft after application. They have one from another range, think anti-imperfection, probably that will be better.

I've used plenty of moisturisers. I've got super acne prone skin too.. dehydrated yet oily. got every damn problem possible.
ANYWAY, currently using ZA's True White range. Using the day moisturiser which doubles up as a sunscreen. I dun feel the moisturising effect much, but it is quite mattifying.
I think weekly, a moisturising mask can be used, eg: neutrogena's fair fineness. effectively moisturising.
at night, i'm currently using the true white night moisturiser. says it can lighten marks but i dun see it happening.
previously used White Lotion from Nuskin. That was a good moisturiser for me. but too exp.
dun get a cleanser that's too drying (harsh) on your skin. and make sure you dun wash your face too often or it'll become dry too. drink ALOT of water. These will help.
