iPod Or Creative Zen Micro

I'm torn between buying a iPod or Creative Zen Micro. Any views on this will be greatly appreciated.
I know there's a huge following out there for iPod. So pls, no flame. Just objective inputs to help me reach an educated decision.
I kinda like the Apple Music Stores.
If i were to buy Creative Zen Micro, would i still be able to download songs from the Apple Music Store to the Zen Micro?
frankly, the only resistance i have about buying iPod is really its notoriusly short battery life. Although it is stated to have 12 hrs, but my friends who use iPod complain that after 6 months of use, it's only left 6-8 hrs max.
Whereas, the Zen Micro comes with replaceable battery, so even it's also running on 12 hrs battery, i always have the option of buying an added battery. -
All batteries life span will die out after some time.
Since you've already weighed out the pros and cons, why ask? I'd get the Zen Micro, if it looks as good as the iPod. -
for Apple music stores, can try getting the itunes software. i think also can leh cos whenever i open my itunes, got the apple music stores page (provided i connected to the internet).
i think windows XP also can use this program..
then from the itunes, you can transfer files to the creative mp3. heh.
oh yah, i would choose the zen micro cos got radio..... -
Who needs the radio when you can have so many songs at one go?
I just bought a 20gb 4th Gen ipod today... and i must say it looks pretty good.
The battery life isn't that much of a problem for me as yet, but i'll keep you updated ^^ -

The thing to consider is, which mp3 player gives you better a value? Is it the 4gb Ipod mini without radio or the 5GB Zen Micro WITH radio? Is it the 8 hours battery life ipod mini or the 12 hours battery life Zen Micro. Im using a Zen Micro now and I can tell you that its performance is much better than the Ipod mini!!! It really depends what are you going for. Substance or style? I disagree with people that Ipod mini looks nice. Creative Zen Micro is I recommend a Black or Silver Zen Micro

I dont buy my mp3s from Apple store. I get them from soundbuzz. Im not sure for apple itunes cos my mp3s is I buy Cds and convert them to MP3 format. Right, Value is just one of the things to consider. Specs by specs, Zen Micro does speaks for itself. FM Radio lah, Voice Recording lah, long Lasting Battery life lah. Perhaps it's just me but I oni listens to my own music playlist than to the radio station's. One spends the dough for so much worth of disk space and one wans to listen to radio as well? If that's the case, I suggest getting a player with smaller disk space that plays radio as well.
And IMO hor, iPod mini & it's family does exudes Substance and Style. Then again, it's just my opionion lah.
