Need good advice on which poly to enter...

Today is the second open house of SP and NP and TP. After browsing through their courses, I think Diploma in Banking seems to appeal more to me. But I dunno which poly I shld pick to enter that course
Anybody here from SP or NP or TP to advise? Also to ask, are the courses from SP and NP the same thing? The course structure seems very similar and to me the difference lies in the name of the course??? -

The proximity of the poly to your house is also impt.
No point wasting time travelling very far

Choose the one nearest your residence. After 3 years, you'll come to realise the most important aspect is travelling time.

Now ask yourself, do you want to get into uni after your diploma and NS? If you answered yes to the above. Everything you commented about food, building design and tampines being boring is no longer on your priorities list. Get your grades and fcuk off, this is singapore, sorry to say that.

choose the nearest poly. imagine urself going to NP everyday. u won feel like going to school after sometime. lol

2. Culture and crowd of the poly.
3. Facilities and layout of the poly. -

I find TP kinda "small" its not as "big" as SP leh. Now big headache...cant decide which poly to go...Fees wise SP is cheaper leh...$3000 per year..TP is $2150 per semester.. -
Then you better do a proper check how long 1 SP year is and 1 TP semester is. One semester doesn't directly imply half a year at times.

It depends. If you are thinking of getting into Singapore U, it's much better to get you diploma from the better poly (SP for banking for exp).
Poly is unlike JC, where there is a standardized exam (you can go to the worst JC nearest to your house and still get 4 As if you are good). There is no way for the University admission to judge all diploma holders equally. This is where they look at your "O" lvl results, poly grades and the reputation of the your Poly (for the course). -

To be frank...SP n NP have better reputations..but so what? Still got ppl dropped out from there...still got ppl get lousy results....
All in all that matters is the results that'll be shown in your transcript...it's what the Uni n companies will look at 1st...
Therefore, i would conclude, as a student (dunno graduated how many years liao) u shld already by now know what course interests you..and you shld do your best at it...no polytechnic is the best...it's all up to the students how much efforts they're willingly to put in their studies...
