Ex means the past. Put it all behind u.
Your ex may have already move on.
Focus on your hubby-to-be.
Think of all his positive attributes & the memories of all the happy times together.
Spend more time bonding with him before deciding on marriage. -
I guess you have to draw a clear line between love and obligation.
You are marrying your hubby-to-be because....
1. your/his parents/relatives know that both of you are going to ROM ("face" problem to call off the ROM plan)
2. he treats you well and you feel "obligated" to mary him
3. you truly loves him
You are still in love with your ex-bf because...
1. he treats you well and you feel "obligated" to love him again

First ask yourself... who would you longed to be with? Then ask yourself... can you be with this guy for the rest of your life?

why i broke up with my ex is 'cause my family likes him, except my father. he thinks my ex stays in HDB is a disgrace. he had arranged alot of "men dang hu dui" thingies for me. but i rejected all.
my hubby-to-be has got some money, n precious family heirloom. (dad, u happy now?)
i feel that i love both. i love my hubby-to-be not 'cause of he's money. more of he's gentleness, he's deep love for me. he cldn't be loving me 'cause of money as i stay alone with a "friend"(i would rather call her ny-dad's-spy/pet) in 3-room flat ( my dad bought for me.)
i told this lie to my hubby-to-be is 'cause i don't want him to love me 'cause of money.
for my ex, he always hides everything. i don't know if he loves me at all as when i asked him "do you love me?" b4 our break up, he just walked away. we are from strangers to lovers n lovers to strangers. (i know, very dramatic) haiz.... -

u think it'll will work if given a second chance??? from the 1st r/s u split up wif him becoz it hurts (either for him or u or both) ,ppl cant change personality wise,but can only improve ...still,the bad qualities though may be minimised r still remained
so...i dunno wats the point in getting back wif an ex. and abt ur fiance...erm.....u better ask urself wat u really want wif him...but still the options r urs

i doesnt have this problem, for me before i accept my current bf, i m sure that i totally let go of the past. What past is already pass , no point keep on remember that. You should let go all totally before ROM wif you FH.... it not fair to him if you still love your ex. I dont think you wan that to happen to you also , right?

you can't have the best of both worlds. if you are trapped in confusion, committing yourself to anyone now is a WRONG move.
exchanging vows is not a child's play. you know very clearly that you are in a dilemma now. why force yourself to make a decision then? give yourself more time. marriage is a lifetime committment and important decision. sure you can annul the marriage if you feel not right for each other in the later stage. but who wants to go thru the heartache and the broken vows?
think carefully before deciding for you do not want to hurt any parties involved. -
but one is your ex. if u tell ur hubby-to-be, what you expect him to do? that he doesn't mind your confusion or he's willing to wait till u are ready. unless you are still hoping for a makeup with your ex, i think one shd move on. it's not easy but it's at least a more rational decision

And no... You don't necessarily have to tell him even if you still feel a bit for your ex... In fact, it's usually not advisable to do that... Of course, that would also have to depend on the level of communication you have with your hubby.. But in majority of the cases, it's often not a good choice to tell...

Have you been thinking of your ex all this while? Or only when yr hubby to be proposed to you and you accepted?
Your relationship with yr ex may have 'officially' ended a long time ago, but has it ended in your heart as well? Or do you still love him?
Many people these days are not treating marriage the way it should be. the sacred vows are nothing to them...

Although, it's a difficult to judge as you didn't mention much about the relationship with your ex, however, it seemed to me that this marriage of yours that is taking place seemed a little hasty. I suppose you see marriage as a final destination and not another stepping stone to a final destination, if you are still holding doubts about your feelings, in the first place, you are not even on stable grounds to get married. Physically and mentally, maybe you are fine with it - emotionally? A question.
You have already made your overall decision to be with your current bf - sever all former ties that will brew feelings. It's never needed if you have chosen the path you desire to walk. Never try hanging onto two side of your decision; you will only fall and injure yourself. Meaning, if maintaining friendship with him or whatsoever will only serve to retain your feelings for him - don't.
You have to protect your own relationship.
And if having to protect means certain sacrifice, you would if you desire to further greater good of your own love.
You need to settle this dilemma before you accept any form of proposal. You have your whole life to be in a marriage, but remember, you only have one chance to do your thinking, consideration and emotional-clear ups before you leap into the next phrase of love.

Dun ever regret if you choose your ex and realise that your hubby-to-be is who you really wana spend your life with..coz decision lies with YOU.
It's best if it's mutual love. You love your hubby-to-be and he loves you too. Coz only when a person loves you, he can give you happiness. And of course, only when you are with the one you love, then will you feel happy.
