Say I met this girl once and I like whats I see, we talk a bit in a grp of friends and then we part. Shld I call her or sms her to ask her out?? I know some ppl would sms, but am I right in thinking that smsing is the "wussy" way???

Why do you want to ask her out so fast for? Just drop her an SMS to ask her how she is and see what's her reaction to you first. When you get past that part, come back here and get advice again.

Before you know her better, you need an excuse first right? So SMS her and ask her how is she getting along all these while. Her answer to you is critical on how to plan the next step. but if u call and the other party is too stunned to react since u did mention that u dont really know her well, it could go downhill...
try asking how she's been these few mths? -
Just send a few SMS to chat with her.
See her response- whether she reply immediately. If she gives one/ 2 words answers then not very keen.
After several SMS, ask whether u can call her to chat. -
There is a slight possibility your sms will not make it to its receipient if you're with starhub.
