my sis owed me some money over the weekend and was refusing to return, either ignore me or shout at me. then she just said " u also owe me money" kns. when did i ever owe u. expected this kind of retort from her.
then my mum came home and gave me some cash to cover what she owed me even though she had no hand in this. she gave me excess because she didnt have small change and told me to keep it. i intended to return her the excess the next day when i have change and my sis who was present, said " look, u even profited from it leh. not bad"
i cant believe my sis can say such a thing. a supposedly mature and older sis said this. maybe the keyword is supposedly -

my sis had a tantrum when I was in sec level asked me to pay 3 months of utilities. I was studying, where got $. So dig savings loh just to appease her. My parents never right this wrong also. My siblings used to buy things put all over and say that these are theirs, no one can use. eg: Bro got a hifi, but no one can use. sis buy cake but no one can eat. bro got text book but I cannot borrow. Etc.
Every family has their own difficulties. You just be wise and take care of yourself and the people who are worthy loh. -

Even relatives. My dad (he is a hawker) fork out 10K to start a sports wear biz with richer and well ed relatives (managers, teachers). But in the en, because of some argument, lost the $. In my current job, I earn very little but I always make it a point to offer to pay for my share when I go out and share a meal with friends. I'm not a free-rider and neither are a lot of other ladies I know.
One rotten apple does not make the entire orchard rotten.
