I have a question about this girl,A i like. Problem is there's this other guy,B around who i think she might like. A seems happy to talk to be, cause she smiles a lot when talkking to him. Well she also smiles a lot when talking to most other people, but i could be too sensitive. One other thing, she sometimes plays with her hair when she talks to him. Some people have told me that this means the girl likes the guy, but i could be imagining things. Anyway when one of her friends asked her what she felt towards the guy, she said "friends only, nothing special." So what do you guys think? She sees this guy more often than me btw, coz they are in the same "academic group". So do you guys think she likes the guy?

This is hard to say, dear. The only way to find out, is to ask her! But, I doubt she will tell you, since you dun sound like her buddy, more like an admirer. Maybe, you shld express your liking to her. That will make her think abt her feelings towards him. Most of us fall in love with the other party coz of "Ri Jiu Sheng Qing". Maybe, she likes to be close to him, coz she is attracted by some qualities in him. hmm... But, not necessarily love...

Well, I am her friend, but I dont think i wouldn't say that i am extremely close to her. She probably already knows that I like her coz i have given her some hints. And btw the friend who asked her what she felt towards him is a very good friend. Sumtimes when i see them talking to one another i get so bloody jealous and sad. Oh ya, the main reason i suspect that she likes the guy is that she seems quite happy talking to him. She seems happy talking to other people too, but for some reason i just *sense* that she's somehow happier talking to him. Like she seems to talk to him a little longer etc.

From the way you have described, it does seem that A is attracted to B. Playing with the hair is known to be a subtle sign language that indicates interest (but that only applies to girls or guys who behave like girls).
You sound like a nice guy, and sad to say this has happened to so many nice guys before that the outcome is now more or less predictable: You could either suffer in silence and keep the friendship, or reveal your feelings and risk the friendship. Whatever you decide, the friendship between you and her is never going to be the same as before.
Maybe you could dedicate to her David Tao's "Pu Tong Peng You" on the radio. -

Yeah... he's rite. U have to do something.... anything.... can start from group outing first then u can slowly proceed. Try to act normal and friendly towards her loh. Dun be afraid to show a little more care, like offer her tissue paper after a meal and other small small "hints".
Try to go into the "good friends" catagory of her life, can stand a much better chance. Since she and ur good friend can evolve into good friends, then there's a chance tat they'll continue to evolve deeper. Besides, I think girls are better at playing the "get tat guy" game then we guys playing the "get tat gal" game.

I know that you like A girl, so be her good and loyal friend first, and observe how she responds to your friendship. Treat her like you would normally treat your best guy friend or your best buddy.
If she responds by giving her friendship to you, you'll got a chance. If she don't bother to return her friendship to you, it means she is not interested in you. Hmm...being polite and courteous to you doesn't means returning her friendship to you, people whom you should consider as your friends are people who are honest about their emotions. They don't bother to hide their emotions, their personality, their behaviour and their thoughts from you. People whom you should be wary about are people who pretends, people who hide their true intentions from their actions, people who keep you guessing about their friendship towards you.
Romancing a girl is one way to go after a girl only when the girl also has a bit of liking for you. The other way is to be her friend, her good friend...and she'll realised that you actually get along very well with her despite your ugly-ness, short-ness and poor-ness. She will be attracted to you if she's not blind, deaf and stupid by nature.
If she's materialistic or have a bad personality, you should go for one who doesn't...else you are heading for disaster and I advise you to go to Indonesia Islands...cos I heard that some Volcanoes are going to erupt soon. :p
Have faith in yourself and be the cool guy to her. Being cool doesn't means being quiet and act like a gangster in a corner. Being cool is about behaving true to yourself...your own character...the real you. Being cool is something you do everyday, like...whenever you are with your family and best friends.
Be yourself and if she's not attracted to you, I'm sure someone better will be.
