Do MOST singaporean girls prefer a guy who is good looking and friendly or a ugly/normal guy who is not as good looking but he is friendly AND very kind to u (e.g:if u want to go somewhere instead of his suggestion,he will always allow u to stick to ur choice)
I am starting to feel that kindness no longer play a part anymore,girls are looking for the guys with good looks,we guys who don't look handsome are treated as spare tyres -

MOST girls would go for a guy with character, confidence and a mind of his own but at the same time sensitive to the girl's feelings and choices at times.
Dogs that only know how to follow skirts will only be a pleasure in the beginning but a headache in the end, regardless whether the "doggie" is rich or handsome.
Money and looks is a bonus, not a must.

i can't stand the sight of guys helping their girl companions carry their little handbags and parading behind their gfs along orchard road for all to see... looks wimpy. Don't know about the girls but if i were one, i'd definitely not want a bf like that.

I haven't seen this sorta "parading behind gfs" before but guys who carry their girls' bags, to me, are kinda sweet and romantic. I usually see them walking side by side with their girls. If a guy carrying his girl's handbag during their courtship is any indication of a romantic, loving lifelong mate, "wimp" is the last thing that should be used to describe such a person, esp with the escalating rate of divorces these days. -

I like to ask all out there a few questions? How many of you have experience knowing a gal/guy who have the look that impressed you but after you get to know him/her for some time, you begin to find his/her look becoming not as impressive as before? Even he/she did not change at all.
Again how many of you have experience knowing a gal/guy who look arent impressive to you at all but after you get to know him/her for some time, you begin to find his/her look becoming more and more impressive? Again he/she did not change at all.
I believe look is more of a mind thing. You may found one fat woman who you feel look like shit, but to someone else she could be the beauty he is seeking. I even think that situation can change someone point of looking at looks. I can still remember the first day after I have being release from my confinment for 2 week in BMT, even the old auntie also look nice to me.

I've a fren who is very huge & obese but very big hearted.
He is happily married & makes an excellent husband & father.
He will get up early at 5am to go marketing & buy fresh fish for his family, then drive all the way to his in-laws' hse to give them some also. -

Looks matter for the first impression.
After that, mannerisms and character come in and looks become a bonus after that.
So, first impression counts. You may not look handsome/pretty, but its the way how you carry yourself that impress ppl. If you are nonchalant abt your appearance, then, difficult to score... Ppl oredi got put off by you liao, who wants to get to know you further leh?
