Was in Info-Comm, its a IT course but for some reason its under engneering school. Therefore must take eng maths and eng fund, even though they have nothing to do with the course.Plenty of the lecturers and even the course manger himself said so.Originally posted by shade343:You in an engineering course?

how to beat the system? seriously get ur parents arrange meet the MP to write to TP for a 2nd chance. and if u do get in, pls put in more efforts.Originally posted by plo30360:Was studying in tp, got removed from the course. Not sure what to do now. Should I apply for another course or go for early NS? I'm going to be 18 in July.
Though I doubt the chances of getting into a another course is going to be easy.Maybe A'levels as a private candidate or those private institutes(but heard they are expensive)that give diplomas.
Thanks for any advice.
What have Engineering Mathematics and Engineering Fundamentals got to do with Info-communications? Isn't Info-communications somewhat akin to media studies?Originally posted by drx:Eng maths and Eng Fund are the basic tools you need to help you in the eng course. I too did not realise their importance until I reach uni level.
Do you have any friend who are good in both subjects who can help you?
I suggest U go NS first.Originally posted by plo30360:Was studying in tp, got removed from the course. Not sure what to do now. Should I apply for another course or go for early NS? I'm going to be 18 in July.

now standard 2 years already mah....serve ns first is to let him decide what he wants to do.Originally posted by dibilo:go NS 1st. 1 benefit is shorter serving period. while u are in army, find out if u are allowed to do part time studies. alternatively, u may want to flip the papers for overseas universities offering diploma/degree programs.
