hmm, when we quarrel, i always debate with them. and I'm eaither right, or they let me be. or else we will end up fighting. like smash things and astuff.

imho..
parents often have the mentality of nt wanting to lose in a quarrel with their kids is because they often think that they would lose their authority as parents when they lose the quarrel. kids nowadays are intellectually and physically superior over their parents, parents are afraid of losing the sense of authority they feel they should have over their children.. not that i'm trying to imply that all parents are control freaks, i personally think that parents do not want to lose control of their children as they are afraid that their children might not be doing the right thing and nt have any control over the situation as parents..
so lets be nice kids and let them win k? (compromise)
but we muz rmb that adults are humans and they make mistakes (just like us )too

They always find fault and lose too, but they keep picking on me. jesus christ, i'm in my Fucking 20s, leave me alone. -

i don't have such prestige as i was sent overseas when i was 13, that means i've been living half my life away from them by now. i guess u'll find out how precious they are, when one day u live far far away from them....

it's not easy to control ourselves during a heated debate. but perhaps we can ask ourselves this question when we are calm - "do i really love my parents?". if the answer is "yes", then try to compromise with them. anyway, if u love them, u just want them to be happy...and to make them happy, let them win lor!!
