Feeling nostalgic now....
Had no worries at the time....Miss the good days -
hey.. now that i'm working, when most of my time at work is spent fighting senior management which seems intent on killing their own staff, politicking, backstabbing... all that instead of getting the job done..
oh well.. sometimes, i do wish for the more innocent times where all i was worried about was if my friend's spider would defeat mine
but we are where we are.. looking back wistfully is fine but the thing is not to get depressed wondering where it all disappeared to...
still sometimes, it's great to look at the world with the eyes of a child..
sometimes, i wish i never grew up...
oh well... if wishes were fishes, we'll all be casting nets... -

I suppose deep down in us, everybody misses the good old days when we were young & didn't have a care. I do miss those old days too, when I didn't have to worry about $ & I was still innocent about what work life was really like. Friends & I used to think about what we'd do, what ambitions we have, etc. How I laugh at it now, & I smile whenever my young nephew voices his thoughts, because that was how I used to be...
However, although I miss the old days, I don't wish to turn back the clock. The lessons I've learnt & the hurdles I've crossed made me what I am today. I know what to do when the going gets tough, etc. It's better than staying stagnant at a level which isn't very much.
A young girl I'm mentoring brings back sweet memories of when I was like her, fresh, innocent, etc. But she's struggling, & I well remember her struggles. I don't want to be in that position again.

Me too.. I miss my childhood.. Are the people here roughly the same age group? I'm 26 this year.. Similar childhood I guess? Have received mail on a list of things when get to see when we were young, in the 1980s I think. Anyone still has such a list? Any people above 40 here? Would like to hear how your childhood is like..

I miss my secondary school days....
Where everyone is still young and innocent and seldom do u have backstabbing issues....
After Secondary school....pple tend to change and get more complicated...... -
Pros and cons I guess.. no school, no exams exchange for work stress, office politics, thinking about future.. hmm.. For now, I would choose my secondary school life.. Able to talk and chat with everybody.. Now, have to be really careful with what you talk about.. Might not know what will happen next..
People being mature may not necessary be really too good a thing.. Thats where all the bad thoughts come in as well as the good thoughts.. -

I 26 this yr too and I really miss my primary school days. No pressure but all day just play soccer. Sometime i really wish i will never grow up, but this is what my life has to be, grow and adapt. To me now, although I miss the good old days, but what is important is also cherish the moment now and look forward to the future.
