asking a girl to be your girlfriend

well theres this girl i like
i've known her for about 3 plus months
and i'm not too sure how to ask her to be my girlfriend
i wrote a song for her ( ive got a band )
i was planning to burn some songs onto a cd to tell her how i feel
i'm pretty sure she knows i like her already
because shes knows about the song
i'm wondering what i should be saying ?
and i'm quite prepared for her to say i'm not ready or something
but how exactly do you pursue a relationship after something as big as a rejection . wont the friendship be ruined ? -

On an individual's basis, certain of 'risk' would be involved for most proposals... -

i got no advice except to tell u - go rock it boy!!! u never know if u never try... as for pursuing a relationship after rejection, pleasssseee...dun even tink abt such negative tots b4 u started. Remember tat to stay in a platonic relationship after "hurt" takes time and a mutual "want-to-remain-as-friends" attitude...if you have it and she dun have it, it still won't work out lah... so the conclusion is:-
1. be confident and express ur feelings (you got a band... suppossed to be really confident in such expressions lah... let it come naturally!!!)
2. if accepted, congratulations. Thank her for giving you the opportunity to see how things may blossom out.
3. if rejected, sorry pal. Give each other some "breaktime" then call her back for kopi and test the platonic friendship thingy.

If u keep questioning yourself u will never get the answer cos u are not her and will never know how she react. No point having so much worries for? Cos you will never know the answer unless you asked.

sometimes when things arent meant to happen it WON happen -
whatever u wanna do sounds fine, but y dun u juz do it face to face? i mean, u give her the CD n aft listening to it, what do u want her to do?
at least when u guys meet up, u can listen to wat she has to say, see her facial expressions etc... if all goes well, isnt wonderful to be by her side?

It doesnt matter how you are going to ask her.....the only impt thing is whether she feels the same way as you. If she doesnt.....no matter how well your planning goes.....its still gonna fail
