sad to say, looks do matter to a certain extent when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex.
Used to get along great with a fren....we had fantastic chemistry and always enjoyed each others company. Our friendship started out purely platonic b4 we started to see each other in a diff light. He was a good looking guy and he told me b4 that he could nv speak his mind so easily and freely with other girls....i guess it was bcos with those girls....their relationship did not begin with frenship....whereas ours started purely with it. But sad to say...things din work out with us.....i found out fr our mutual fren that he actually liked me but couldn decide whether he really wanted me as a gf...reason being that he felt he could meet better or perhaps more good looking girls. haiz....guys are so disappointing. Our friendship suffered as a result and i broke off all contacts with him. From time to time...i would hear friends telling me that he actually missed my company and would doodle my name during his lectures....but there's no looking back on my part.
Moral is.....look beyond looks and use your heart and not your eyes to feel and judge someone. -

Screwed up hair..can be how screw up lea?, i jus now at tiong barhu plaza see initial D, see some guys their hair, use many gel & make it look like po-q-pine wid dye orange orange wid gold tip...tat is wat i called screw up hair cum fked up hair..
Mayb u try let it grow longer then cut to the design u wan lor..
If its those frizzy hair, go salon do their wat water mostier steam or use the wella straighting cream.

sounds like me.i'm 1.61 but erm the only time i get depress over this is when the clothes i like don't suit me because of my height..imagine all those nice jeans have to alter..basket..weat suit also not that nice as compared to my frens but looks not all in life.

Really, you are not alone..and btw, people do not trail off their conversation just because of your looks, but because of how your face has express itself. Does your facial expressions shows lines of low-self exteem or depression (sadness, very mindful of your own looks), that's why the people are quite uncomfortable in communicating with you, you might not notice, but your face shows it. Really.
Anyway, don't worry, you will meet people that will appreciate you for who you are (wow, i'm getting cornier here, hehe) -

IMO short girls can be very attractive too. thus there is no reason to feel bad. it works differently for guys.
ask around if girls like short guys. definitely a big NO.

I've got some thoughts to share. It's true that looks is not everything. But it's also true that looks still play a major part, at least in the beginning (impression).....So if u can improve it, just try what u can do...
Like, can u try increase ur height? If u are still young, do sports and eat, maybe even try some of those height-improvement equipments (dunno effective anot).
Other than height, get a nice haircut, sleep to remove ur panda eyes, apply some lip-stuff for ur lip problem, scrub ur face, dress up, go workout abit for ur body, etc...... Coz it all would help....not only ur height matters......
And...yeah.....talk more confidently.....I've seen too many examples of this principle with my very own eyes....definitely will help alot..... -
