how to let go?

i've been searching around the net. all i've found are crappy e-books.
so i thought i'd ask for help here again
-- how to let go of a ger whom u loved?
apparently.. though she meant the world to miie..
i have became as insignificant as just any other guy to her..

hm.. one good method is engrossed yrself with lots of activites and also enlarge yr social circle... join a outside club or adventure club to know more pple and mix around....
Of course forgetting is not a midnite issue... it takes time.. . so after all these activities, maybe one day u r bathing, u think of her again.. actually that time u already forget her le.. just only sudden remember of her presence.
Dun try to think of knowing another lady and start a new relationship to forget the past ger... it never works and worse u might hurt the lady u r currently dating....

i did try a rebound for a past relationship..a year or so ago..
and it hurt both of them..

I'm in the process of trying to let go now... its been very hard for me... have been trying for more than a year
Try to do the things that you like (hobby/work) with 100% of your heart and soul... then you will forget her for that moment only... That is why I bury myself totally in my work everyday...
