If your friend chooses option 2, her enemies cannot continue to pester her and force her to communicate for she can sue for harrasment.
If she chooses option 1 and she gets threatened or beaten up in the process, she can sue for Assault and Battery.
Anyway, if your friend want to stay away from trouble, tell her to stop sending those SMS. -

I understand how ur fren feel after being hurt by others. I would suggest if possible, pls do comfort her and take her tots away from those thoughts of revenge or wat, cos it nvr ends. (she get them, they get her, she get them again, ... this goes on).
Getting over the matter is much better than pursuing an ongoing argument. -

imagine she was so depressed that she has to go for surgery and her mental and physical health was very badly affected..i knew it because she was under nervous breakdown and nearly had to go for counselling..
and her surgery is something which is on-going and she has to continue time and again....she was already feeling bad enough...AND

Cos like i said, getting over this matter is more worth the time than spending it on revenge tots that just doesnt bring anything. Thats the point.
She is depressed and if u further encourage her to do things that can add on to her depression, it will make things worse. Try to encourage her and chat with her. Bring her attention towards the brighter side.
I understand and feel the same way as u do as well. But I see that helping her get better is more important than helping her getting revenge. Thats y as a fren, ur help is imprtant to her. Stand by her and ensure that u encourage her to take the rite path.
I understand her reactions and know that theres nth wrong with that reaction but I think it is better to live a life meaningfully rather than in misery trying to get back at someone who is just basically a jerk. -
This is the case with SG, where prepaid cards have to be registered.I believe there are places that do not really require proof of rego and NRIC..
Though that was in the late 90s.Just purchase and use.Untraceable.
In any case, let them harrass and just report them for harrassment.However, she must be prepared to deny anything to do with the SMSes.Now..does she have the mental willpower to go through it all?

by hating someone it's the worst treatment to be bringing upon herself. i do not approve to her actions as it isnt even a bit constructive nor destructive to the target. it will only make your friend sink deeper and deeper into the hatred.
and at the end of the day, has it been worth it?
what she needs are love, care and friends (who arent accomplice in crimes or petty charges). you as a friend should prove ur worth with the correct advices and consolation. do it and get her out of misery; not from hatred but love for a friend. -

She might not get in trouble with the law, but she might get in trouble with the people she is harassing. They might just act on their guesses. With teens violence on the rise, you never know what they'll do. Your friend might get others into trouble, an innocent person they suspect to be the sender of the smses.
It's really a waste of money if you think about it. Your friend can just brush of the insult and not think about it. To send "revenge" smses will only be a waste of money. , -
