Lost Camera

I dont know if this topic is way off-topic but I'm desperate.
I lost my Nikon 2200 digital camera either at Hougang Central Bus Int or onboard double-decker bus SBS 9688H of service 89 today (28.07.05) at around 5pm.
I was holding the camera in my hands and sat at one of the seats while waiting for a bus. When this svc 89 bus came, I rushed for it. I only realised i lost my camera some time later after I have alighted from the bus at Sengkang (bus stop outside Ranggung LRT station).
To those who have found it, I really hope you would return it to me. You may contact me through PM.
I really need the camera back as it is an important part of my life. It pained me to save the money just to buy it and now it's gone, I'm really depressed. I admit I'm careless but I really hope some kind soul who found it will return it to me. Thank you. -

Hmm yeah. But i sure hope whoever found it is kind enough to return it to me. I will definitely repay the kindness.. Now crossing my fingers..

Have you checked for "Lost and Found" with the SBS staff at Hougang Central Interchange and Airfreight Terminal Building? If it was not picked up by another passenger and the bus driver was honest, that would be the place your lost camera should be.
Your chances could be higher there than here. -

I've had made exceptions to some forumites before but a couple just took it for granted.. Just like what they would tell you in NS.. "This is a priviledge... Not an entitlement." Even in the society, it's the same... -
I am very sorry if I have broken any forum rules but it was not my intention of doing so. If the moderators wish to delete the topics in other forums, I won't oppose. I will just use the post here.
As expected, I couldnt sleep last night no matter how hard I tried, even though I knew I was very tired and sleepy. Never been this way, even when I lost my wallet once in primary school. The camera is a very valuable possession of mine. I remembered not eating in school just to save up for this camera. Yes, I know I was careless when I didnt check if it was still with me or not. But I rather lose my wallet thean lose this camera of mine. My school-life has been disrupted as I've lost all the photos I've taken meant for school work.
I just hope whoever the person who found the camera is kind enough to return it to the proper branches. I would not hesitate to reward the person who returned it. Anything for the camera.
Oh yes, thanks for the advice on asking the staff over at Hougang Int. I've asked them but they said nobody returned any camera. A thorough check of the int wasnt helpful either. I pray to god i will get my camera back. -
Sorry but i have got to tell you chances are u wont get them back. Even if the person who picked it up wanted to return it, theres nothing much he/she can do coz no particulars are known to him/her. Chances are at the terminal's lost and found. Dont worry so much. I mean you cant blame others for losing stuffs so get over it and save up and buy another one and be mor ecareful next time. About the works inside the camera, you would better do something about it quick, dont let a lost camera drag you down on your sch work.
Anyway i still hope your camera returns one way or another.

Be prepared for the worst, ie you will never get to see your camera again.
Now, think forward about what camera to buy for yourself, the same brand and model or another one? where to get funding? when are you going to buy? where are you going to buy?
I pray that miracle will happen and the good hearted one who picks up your camera will try to return it to you. -
How much you got that cam of urs for? $500? U can get some cameras that are cheaper but high in functions next time lor, think you have high possibility that you can't find that cam, don ponder much, face up to reality and move on...

Thanks for all the advice given. Really appreciate it. I sure hope one fine day, my camera will be returned to me, though it's fat hope.
Gotta save money for a new camera soon.. Other than saving pocket money and working in fast-food restaurants, anybody knows of any decent way to make money, for a teen like me? -

I did not realised it until when onboard the plane where they announced to switch off all electronic devices.
When back from my trip 1 week later, I discovered that it was found by someone in the terminal and call the lost and found company bak2u. Very heng to have it back!
