Is ITE really that bad?

ITE Sucks. cannot study then dun study. next time sweep roads. dun go ite then poly. Spoil poly cert only. ITE means ITE. Poly means poly. Dun mix.

yup, remember that even you are in ITE, you can go to Poly also. (MUST ask the people there before you register for ITE).
Or you can try to adapt to the new class, goto Sec 5N, which is good, why? cuz, anyway, its less than a year in Sec.5, as from Jan to Sept at most, then its prelims and N levels already, so dun have to adapt to new class much also.
Ofcuz try to mix around with new class but remember you task is to study not play a fool and waste your 1 year then fail N levels! then off you go to POLY!
and a bright future awaits you. -

Don't waste time listening to these so called fakers. at go ite then go poly then go masters. University studetns sucks also. Y waste time study wat master? Dun be a rat and follow others in the rat race. Pui I despise others who study for the sake of securing a good future. Useless. I only respect those who study cos it is their passion. They study for the sake of mankind. -

In S'pore, a cert is nt everyting, but a stepping stone for a handsome pay! So if kan study, go for it lah! ITE student r nt the lowest life form in this earth!! Boss from ITE means he stupid in academics la but clever in manipulating pple to part with their money. I am farking sick of this society. Must be rich then considered successful? Y can't pple just accept one another for who they are. Dun need to be rich or poor, but just be themselves. So wat if I am a roadweeper. Even roadsweeper also important. When the world ends, see whether yr stupid money is successful or not.

in singapore u dun study, what else can u do?
people from ITE also realize this that's why they go poly to further their studies. although i also dun like them coming to poly but there is nothing we can do. if they can cope and do well, good for them. if they can't, after their second attempt at the same module, you won't see them again. but there are people that are from ITE going to poly then uni. they just have to work harder than other people. -

I hope my advice can encourage you to a certain extent. ITE cert let you learn the skill and knowledge that equipe you for the job or career that you want in future. Don't think too far, work for your future and as you acquire the necessary skills, you will have more options and opportunities. Even if you have a good job, continue to pursue your higher education. I take each step at a time to acquire a stable and secure job. Learn from those who gone through the long way to achieve his or her dreams. Don't ever look down on ITE cert. They do open doors to job opportunities as well as higher education. -

reply leh di ckhead ....i one shot complete my O but i choose ITE because i (and my parents) cannot support myself go poly (i was offered a place in accounting) so go ITE and made a big sweep with my good results (1 distinction, a couple of As). at ITE i learn many basic technical knowledge (process piping, CAD concepts, mechanical and machining, building services piping, airconditioning and piping, basic electrical concept etc) and later "wasted" another year learning part time Industrial Automation and Robotics (which wasn't related to my full time job then)....direct 2nd year entry to part time poly after NS and working full time find second year poly topics chicken like feet coz most stuff learn in ITE oredi while those fresh O level full time students must have been struggling like hell!Originally posted by ITE Sucks:Haha u must be from ite cos only suckers defend where they come from.
