another brainless person doing things without thinking of the consequences... why is it that gals, who have been told since young that they are generally more vulnerable, still get themselves involved in such situations??

It's not leading her the way I want her to go but the way she wants it to be (at least momentarily seems so)... It's her emotional instability that we should be concerned with... Hence the suggestions were just to calm her down and put her in the right firm of mind to bravely accept the decision she've made for herself and the child... -

the parents may not be as selfish as we think... they could be acting in the interests of the couple.
marrying can give the child a name but a real family will need more than that.

she is equally responsible for what happened and should not expect him to marry her.
she seems quite emotionally unstable. as a man, would you want to spend your life with her???
i think it is time she takes responsibility for her decision. -

Its tough to bring up the child in a single or screwed up family....
can consider putting up the child for adoption at birth instead....the child deserves a chance to grow up in a complete family.... my personal view of thought! -

Anyway... Forcing things against her ways would only cause much more complications in her emotions.. If you think abortion is already bad enough, think of what further instability in her emotions can do to her own life and perhaps even the life of a child if happens to be borned...? -
umm if she decides to be responsible for her action and give birth to the child...can she guar she can handle?? its very tough for being single parent and can she handle the stress bringing up a child by themselves, financially and many other prob ... can be a big problem...
if she give the child up for adoption....would she miss the child so much that she finds life miserable??
actually i think while its still early stage (not a baby yet), abortion is not necessary no good....cos being responsible does not necessary mean hv to give birth to the child....IMO
but of course she must understand that the action she takes is due to the circumstances she is in and must not look back and no point regretting....
if she can, to me the best solution is to abort....live on....just take it as a lesson of life....( i know its unfair for the girls but wat to do, our body is make with the giving birth equipment....when u find the rite one....this birth equipment is a great joy to hv...but not when u met the wrong fellow.)
sigh....hope your friend finds her 'rite' decision soon...and move on....
