since u hate to work with ppl ... i dont think u r suitable in finance lineOriginally posted by shinta:Basically, I have always wanted to do sth in the finance line.
I realised that my current job is kinda like the right job for me.
Choice 1:
Go on and get the qualifications for a job in the finance line.
Choice 2:
Improve myself further, and just stay in my current job / wait for a chance to move on to a greener pasturein the same field??
More information will be given when asked.. cos I have no idea what to tell you guys.

Shinta,
It's abit hard to advise you, given that finance is an area which you've always wanted to be involved in, yet you have an interest in your current job.
The only thing I'd say is that, if you enjoy this line you're working in right now, why rock the boat? Finance isn't an easy area, I'm speaking from experience. If you like the fast-paced life, then perhaps it might be for you. But be prepared to really slog & upgrade your skills & knowledge if you should choose this area.

Yup. Finance isn't easy and besides... You're quite very comfortable with your current job? Personally... I feel that your love for finance is just rather 'surface' for now...? I'm not saying for sure that you won't love it... But as you learn more and more of it, and given the fact that your job nature in that line has not been fixed... Chances are... You might just grow to hate it?Originally posted by shinta:hmmz what nel thinks is... i should just stay in this line.
er... there isn any positions above my current oneOriginally posted by Devil1976:Yup. Finance isn't easy and besides... You're quite very comfortable with your current job? Personally... Under your current stand.. Finance would take quite alot of upgrading to get you 'somewhere'..' Whereas your current job just gives you the comfort of the type of working environment you like... On your current job, you can still choose to go more in depth as to where you wish to venture into... In other word, flexibility...
It's common for people to take up more responsibilities than they 'should' these days... I would often have much to say in regards to this, but today I shall not touch on that side track....
In regards to promotion..? Well... If you have the mentality of BOTH 1. Hating to work long hours. 2. Hating to work with people... It would seems just VERY UNLIKELY for any appropriate 'promotion' to come about...?
why not open a new topic n discuss about thatOriginally posted by Devil1976:Yup. Finance isn't easy and besides... You're quite very comfortable with your current job? Personally...
