I started my first day today at a average sized company today.. signed an appointment letter that says I'll be under probation for three months... all's well and rosy.. I was thinking it was too good to be true..
Then at lunch time this other angmoh company based in sg called and asked me if I'm available to start work tml at their co. they are offering 200 bucks more. I told I'll think about it, get back to to them tml morning.. damn..
If I've signed the appointment letter this morning, can I still quit immediately and not get blacklisted?
Backside itchy.. I know... but I like both offers..

u must have signed without reading all the prints rite...go read again...got state the period of notification during probation mths...

The Angmoh co wants me to start work asap, as in tml, or wed. No time to discuss with this co liao.
I oso quite troubled since I got the call from them... too much guilt la. They treat me so well.

of coz, quality of your work matters above all else in whatever company you eventually choose or get to go to.
in this new economy, you probably should think about how you can contribute and show results FIRST rather than expecting the company to reward you before you prove your worth.
