its not that 25 is a limit i set upon myself. its when my arms starts to become really soft and wobbly. i have never done pushups in my life until i entered JC where the pe teachers make us do 30 at a go. In secondary school we never had to do pushups. When i first entered in Jan, i could barely do 10. But in the army,whether u like it or not,if the trainers really want u to do more,u will be pushed to go beyond your self claimed "limit".And u will be pushed to your limits so many times that your muscles will surely grow and u will find that each sucessive time doing the push up will not be that difficult as compared to last time.
Also like one other person suggested,u may like to consume more protein in your diet since protein is what is used by the muscle to grow itself.But u will have to exercise for this protein to be recognised by the body that it is needed and it will be channelled to appropriate places for the body to build itself up.
