new to forum, juz wana see wat's ur views on such guys who dates successful, young ladies whom they hope can give em a boost in their career or money...:-)
Their traits: young, 25-30, mostly working in creative field, good-looking, gentleman, drives a sport car (all cars that r noisy n Attract attention on e road..Eg V-tech, Evo, WRX etc..), likes going ex restaurant..n enjoys happy-hour beer (save $$), xtremely self-conscious, vain.

sounds fine to me~ probably not all are goes after the rich and successful ladies. but I think normally guys would be intimateded (dun know how to spell) by woman who are more successful and richer than the man.

was juz askin for a fren whos in tis situation (briefly narrated, apology for any confusion in sequence):
1. Guy asks Gal out for 1st date.
2. They go on 1st date and Guy brings Gal to restaurant, then a romantic beach walk & tries to kiss Gal.
3. Gal rejects Guy's advances (Gal is a friendly lady) and feels shocked about Guy's advances (too fast)
4. Guy later apologies and promise not to do it again, and ask Gal for 2nd date immediately. Also starts calling & smsing her frequently. They have some proposed biz partnership too, but not finalized yet.
5. Gal & Guy goes on few more dates, and acts like couple cos Guy always hold her hands wen they r out. Seldom discuss biz dealings. Gal always initiates the biz dealing discussion.
6. Recently, Guy & Gal started keeping a distance from each other after last very intimate phone call. Guy was then frequently calling her up from office.
Gal already told guy she would be leaving abroad in a yr's time, so low chance of sustaining a relationship.
7. Gal nv intended to fall in love with Guy, cos career-minded at moment.
Guy sends lots of signal intending to hav a true relationshup.
8. Gal for personal reason, cannot fulfil proposed biz partnership with guy, guy then suddenly pulls back. (True reason unknown, but gal suspects partly bcos she wants to strike e biz on her own, while guy keeps wanting to partner with her saying they can complement each other well, and he feels comfortable working with her.)
9. Gal treats guy as normal fren now, and hopes to have an understanding on his intention. That simple.

Guy wants girl to be his gf but girl does not want to be tired down.
This is a common result if you mix business with relationship.
Girl have already given all the correct signal but guy refuse to accept it and used biz partnership to forced the girl to accept the relationship.
If you are on the girl side, just tell her that what she did was rite. One should never ever mix business with relationship. The guy is very cunning as he had used biz partnership as a front to force the gal into a relationship which she did not want.
It you are on the guy side, you should slap the guy for what he has done. For he is cunning, and a very bad person. Kissing on the first date shows that he does not respect the girl and wish to bed the girl asap. If you notice carefully all the girl wants is a biz partnership but the guy who is the one is seriously wants a sexual relationship. After the guy realise that he was not able to get what he wants then he rans off to find another target. -
This story sounds very familiar leh. Thought I read it somewhere here in AA.

to others they are quite un-approachable, like ice queens.
i hate them yet admire them at the same time. I think I get close to them so I may learn more of life lessons from them

I was thinking that he was jus being lusty towards her too, cos now that she turns very professional n no other intentions..Guy seems to have really drifted off to find himself another target.

thx for ur advice..i agree totally wif u, but sometimes juz cant figure out y wont they learnt to treasure their bodies as they get wiser, and know how to leave the best of what they have learnt abt love-making to their wives?
I noe in life, one's bound to go astray sometimes, but one would eventually learn that sex is not what ties a lasting relationship, and sex without true love is totally meaningless, jus like having a stomache and relieving e pain in e loo afterwards, and flushing e poo dwn e bowl (apology for using such uncouth description, but dats how i c it!)
Isn't marriage meant 2 be sacred especially in this aspect? N aren't they afraid of STDs????

U can't deny tt sex is always on the minds of most guys. Sometimes, wild forbidden fruits seems much more attractive than the usual apples and oranges U haf at home.
Do the guys want a lasting relationship in the first place. They are dudes in the playing fields, who cares abt forever love.
Marriage in today context is totally diff.
