  Depends on mood of the girl for this to work
  
  When I'm in a bad mood, if someone drops something, I'll say "Ooops", move aside, & leave the person to pick up himself/herself
  
  When I'm in a good mood, I'll help the person pick up. But after a thanks, I'll just smile, & things go back to normal (i.e. we smile, but don't talk)
  
  Only after being intro'd by a friend/colleague, &/or I'm in a very good mood, will I strike up conversation
