Say, you are busy with your work these period. Boss is putting alot of pressure on these upcoming projects that you are handling and you know that if you do a good job, that is where you will probably take off in your career, something which is very important to you.
As a result, you neglected your partner.
Over a period of one year, the damage accumulates.
Then one day you discovered that there is this fellow who have been stealthily and steadily chasing your bf/gf, to such extend that your Love has some feelings for him/her. The catalysis exploded one day when he/she decide to pop the ultimate question, but he/she was rejected by your Love.
You got to know about this, but is unable to compromise the time spent on your work. But this fellow, despite being rejected, never give up and somewhere in your subconscious, if he/she is given enough time and opportunity, he/she might succeed.
Would you ever opt to confront him/her personally through a face-to-face talk?

I'm not too sure.. But I think I would choose 'B'..? Even if I find myself meeting up with him eventually, it probably might not be a 'confrontation'...?

But hey I completely agree with everyone else the "problem" is with you. I quotation marked problem simply because carving a career out for oneself is only the deserving thing to do, especially if there is going to be a viable future with your love.
I would choose A, and if A doesn't back down, then you should really speak to your love because for love to work there must be levelled communication. For me that's what makes love special, that my girlfriend can see right through me and as such we can talk about anything to everything -
