  I know anything I type also rubbish lah... but...
  
  If you really can't let it go, will it be wrong to continue pursue your current dream partner and yet keep an eye out for another candidate? Like multitasking?

  Although, I know that sometimes it can't be helped but, I know I won't take no for an answer but if things doesn't go your way, does that mean you'll keep banging on this dead end? Why not keep a lookout, while doing pursuing? Like a backup plan.
  
  I don't mean 2 timing, just keeping a lookout for candidates...

  supposely, a girl u love tells u you are the guy that she has always dreamed of, but one day u happen to overhear the girl's conversation with her friend that she aiming her handsome manager and cute colleague as your backups. Would u believe she really take u as her dream guy?
