  depends on what kind of accountant you are... there are quite a few...
  
  financial accountant
  management accountant
  cost accountant
  auditor
  tax accountant
  and so on...
  
  lower levels like assistant accountants, clerk would do more dr cr n balancing kind of stuff... then higher levels should be more of analyzing the info and making decisions...
