any others faced this....i still feel like 18 year old...how to make my self more mature?
Tried but very hard leh...some more my appearance also look like teenager..I still play game consoles and being mummy's boy......i am aware of all this and at times feel awkward..but cant help it....pls advice -

4 things for smoking, sex, drinking and growing beard will not make u older.
it is ok to play game console. i'm twice ur age and PSP is still my fav. and I still like cartoon.
most impt is to enjoy whatever u do... or u will miss livin. -

i still playing maplestory and watching cartoon at my age ...
most important think is that dont behave and think like a teenager will do ....

consoles are for ppl of all ages
so.. dont regret missing out on all those stuff that u like/eat/play..
but dont go overboard though

my gf asked me to be more matured and i felt her being upset over this.
now im hardworking(trying to earn money now) ,no more games. always think carefully how to fully ultilise my time instead of playing it off.. but...our r/s soured... on the verge of breaking..

I think I'm worse than you lah.
Gf keep complaining say I like a little kid always throwing small tantrums at her but at the same time she love me because I'm very sensitive towards her feelings and needs and always give good advises to her when she need one. So you see, being adult is not about being serious all the time. Even my dad who's already in his late 50s can be quite playful at times and still joke around with us.

List of problems:
1) When you get serious all the time...gf complain you too stiff..everything also so serious. Duno how to be flexiable <-- Big headache
2) When you play all the time...gf complain say you not serious about your life..no security.. <-- Bigger headache -

i prefer adults who act like fools and joke around to those always bring stern stern look on the face.. like no life lidat. of coz there r still times to be serious la

most guys will take long to mature. My cousin brother is also like this 26 yr old this year but very immature....still ogling at girls...

I think its ok to play game consoles.. playing around... Stick to ur mom.. It's nothing to do with childish.. Any body likes to fool n playing around. Nobody likes to be serious all the time... And ur age shouldnt be too much concern... Even Old folks can be childish sometimes. The concept of maturity maybe more like 'Whether u always focus and plan things for ur future, can think carefully with what you are doing and saying to ppl and when u screwed up with things, u always take the lessons and not blaming others.

Alfresco - you don't know what I wouldn't give to be your position - except for that part about being mummy's boy.
Age is in the mind. I am 40+, I still play Gameboy and even have the GB emulator on my laptop, playing Pokemon no less. I have a huge toy collection, watch manga, read comics. Being 40 only means I have the money to buy my stuff.
If by being mummy's boy, you mean you are close to your mom (or dad) and enjoy doing things together, that's fine. But if you mean you let her decide what you wear and do, this is an issue.
